Ecclesiastes 3:11 – He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
One of the joys of starting a garden is actually seeing the end results. I myself only enjoy starting a garden from seeds and on occasion purchase establish flowers just to speed up the process. But those flowers don’t last too long and then they are wilted. For some reason or other, I can’t seem to keep them flowering the way I purchased them from the garden store. However, my success is always rewarded when I actually plant them from seeds. I choose a nice spot to start the garden bed, make sure they are planted according to instructions, and water, water, water till I see them sprout. Now you need to make sure you know your weeds and flowers when they germinate, because you could eventually pull your flowers out instead of the weeds. One summer I put an avocado seed in a large container, and I completely forgot about it. Through seeding that container with flowers and constant watering the avocado started sprouting and it looked like a weed to me and well, I pulled it out and at the end of the plant was an avocado seed hanging from it. I thought “NOOOOO”.
My constant diligence in caring for these seeds in the ground reveals the end results of my laboring over it, Through the heat of the day, cold of the night when a late frost blasts through unexpectedly. In it’s beginning stages of growth, you want to hurry it along by fertilizing it. But when that first bloom emerges your heart can’t express how beautiful it is, And you examine it’s petals and colors and wonder “how did God do that”? He painted that flower so perfectly as if he used a fine tip brush.
In my life, it is searching God’s word, trusting God’s word and constantly feeding my soul with the water of life that yields results. My God does things so beautifully and perfectly. And when he is done accomplishing His work in me, my heart can’t express how grateful and even words can’t describe how awesome He is. All I can do is say “thank you Lord.”
